For Philips Hue, all you need are White and colour ambience lights and a Philips Hue Bridge.
What's the difference between sync with Spotify and Music Mode in the Philips Hue app?
Philips Hue + Spotify analyses every song and creates a custom light script on the fly to deliver the best light experience. Music mode in the Philips Hue app analyses the audio and uses our entertainment algorithm to give generic, randomised light effects.
