After you pair the smart button to your Philips Hue setup and choose which lights it will control in the Hue app, it’s ready to use. You can customize your settings by navigating to Settings > Accessory setup in the Hue app.

The Hue smart button is programmed to set the best light setting based on time of day by default, but you can always customize it with the Hue app: select your favorite scenes for each time of day or adjust the time slots.

Each button on the Tap dial switch can cycle through scenes, and each button can control a separate Room or Zone. The dial dims or brightens one Room or Zone.
