New features for the sync box
Control with your voice
Turn the sync box on and off, switch HDMI inputs, start and stop light syncing, and more using only your voice and Amazon Alexa, the Google Assistant, or Siri with a future sync box update.
Control with your TV remote
Use any infrared TV remote to control your sync box in a future update. After a simple setup in the Hue Sync mobile app, your remote can turn the sync box on and off, switch HDMI inputs, and more.
Expanded Zones control
Control the Zones you create in the Hue app with your accessories, such as a motion sensor or dimmer switch, and easily check their battery levels in the app.
New smart switches
We’re introducing new partners to give you even more options when outfitting your house with Philips Hue. Voltus, Jung and Insta Group provide a variety of smart switches in different designs to complement any home.
