About the Perifo track lighting system

Track lighting is a lighting system that lets you place lights along a track attached to the ceiling or wall. You can add different types of lights, such as spotlights and pendant lights. You can adjust both the position of the lights on the tracks as well as their angle. Track lighting is often used in the kitchen and living room, but because it’s so flexible, you can install track lighting anywhere in your home.

You don't need a Bridge to control Perifo. You can control Perifo track lighting with Bluetooth, or add a Bridge to unlock the full suite of smart lighting features.

Yes, some of them! Pendant lights can be raised or lowered up to 1.5 meters. Spotlights can be angled, while the gradient light tube can be rotated. 

Perifo track lighting can be installed on the ceiling or the wall. Power supply units made for the ceiling wire into your home's electricity, while power supply units made for the wall plug into an outlet.

Yes! Perifo track lighting is customizable, meaning you can set it up any way you like. Track lighting kits come with a full setup, but if you want to extend your rails or add more lights, you can order additional separate parts in the Hue shop. 

Perifo track lighting only works with Perifo lights.

Yes. Perifo track lighting does not require a certified installer, meaning you can install it yourself. Keep in mind that some installation steps may require two people. 

It depends on the power supply unit you choose. The 1-point and 2-point power supply units are wired into your home's electricity via an electrical box on the ceiling. A 1-point power supply unit with a plug is meant for wall setups and can be plugged into a standard outlet

Perifo track lighting lets you make a variety of shapes. Set it up in a straight line, an L-shape, a U-shape, T-shape, Z-shape and more! If you can dream it, you can design it. With a flexible connector, you can even create a ceiling-to-wall or wall-to-ceiling setup.  

Perifo track lighting needs three main parts: rails, a power supply unit and lights. You can add corner connectors to create a 90-degree angle, a straight connector to connect rails together in a line or an extension cable and electrical box cover to adjust the placement of your setup. 

Sure! Track lighting kits only come in all black or all white, but you can mix the different parts however you like.

Perifo lights click into the rails, making them easy to install — or even rearrange. 

You can slide the lights from right to left once they are clicked into the rail.

Perifo track lighting only works with Perifo lights.

Yes. Each Perifo light appears individually in the Philips Hue app. Group them into a Zone to control them all at the same time.

The flexible connector's cable lets you place it at almost any angle, from straight to almost parallel with itself. Keep in mind that the rails need a few millimeters between them to accommodate the width of the connector.

Install the first rail. Then, place the back plate of the connector into the rail, and then install the second rail. Fit the third rail into the open side of the back of the connector, and install the rail. Click the connectors themselves into place, and then place the cover on top.
