Can I detach the camera from the floodlight on the Secure floodlight camera?
Can the camera on the Secure floodlight camera automatically turn on the floodlight when it detects motion?
Yes! You can set up the camera to turn on any combination of your Philips Hue lights when it detects motion — whether it's just the floodlight or every light in the house. Just go to the camera's settings and toggle Trigger lights to the "on" position to get started.
Can I aim the light in a different position than the camera on the Secure floodlight camera?
Yes! The floodlight and camera are both individually adjustable.
Where is the power source for the camera on the Secure floodlight camera?
The fixture itself wires in to your home's electricity, which powers both the floodlight and the camera.
Do I have to use the anti-drop cable provided with the Secure floodlight camera?
We recommend following the instructions in the manual, which explains how to attach the anti-drop cable.
Can I mount the Secure floodlight camera upside down or on a ceiling?
No. Both the floodlight itself and the camera were designed to be mounted upright on a wall.
What is the lumen output of the floodlight on the Secure floodlight camera?
The floodlight is 2250 lumens.
How far can the Secure floodlight camera be from my Bridge?
As long as you have lights in between the Bridge and the Secure floodlight camera, you can place it at the furthest point of your house. The floodlight camera uses Zigbee, so it uses other lights as "stepping stones" to extend the network.
How high should I mount the Secure floodlight camera?
We recommend mounting the floodlight camera at least 2 meters above the ground for optimal illumination and camera view.
How long is the power cable for the camera?
