Important notice on updates, features and compatibility
Thank you for your purchase.
To help ensure that our customers continue to receive the best surround lighting experience, new and improved versions of the Philips Hue Sync TV app* may be released from time to time.
In addition, Signify intends to continue to support the Philips Hue Sync TV app with required security, quality and interoperability updates as well as maintaining compatibility with the latest version of our Philips Hue bridge and the latest version of the Philips Hue mobile application** for a minimum total of five (5) years from the date of your purchase. After this date, Signify may choose to continue to provide software updates and/or compatibility with Philips Hue bridge and/or Philips Hue mobile applications for the Philips Hue Sync TV app at its discretion.
Signify is not responsible for the TV and/or any action (or omission) by TV manufacturer, its service providers or any other third party via the TV (including any future TV updates) causing the Philips Hue Sync TV app not to function in accordance with its published functionality.
The Philips Hue Sync TV app can automatically update to the latest app version if you have automatic updates enabled in your TV settings. Please note that automatic updates are enabled only when the TV is connected to the Internet. Also make sure you are running the latest available TV software. The easiest way to update your TV software is directly through the settings menu on your smart TV.
*) Available on 2022 and newer Samsung QLED TVs in the Q60 or higher range (support for Q700 coming soon). If your TV supports the Philips Hue Sync TV app, it will appear when you search for it in Apps. Alternatively, check the product specifications of your TV model on Samsung.com.
**) Compatibility with the official Hue mobile applications requires the Hue Bridge to be on the latest software version at all times.
